Al Muqtadir Jewellery Group started their first store in 2018. They had zero online presence but knew that they must have a robust online presence if they wanted to oust their competition.
At the time, the business was still in its startup stage, and its funding was tight. So they wanted to work with someone who could help them grow their business online at flexible rates. That’s when they got referred to leafymark. With our help and support, they expanded from one store to having seven branches all over Kerala, India.

Project summary

Al Muqtadir Group needed a solid online presence. They wanted to appear as the number one search result when someone searched for their name online. They also wanted to showcase their latest collections on their website to easily share their latest designs with new customers.

The Strategy

We identified that there was a severe lack of customer care in the jewellery market, especially in the local communities where the jewellery store was running. We talked to hundreds of customers and found out that they were feeling like they were being robbed of money by jewellers by over charging for designs and craftsmanship. With that information our planned out out strategy and started marketing .

Our plan of action included: 

  • Figure out where their customers were active online and advertise to them.
  • As we understood what competitors were doing, The jewellery group hired artisans in-house and started selling without making charge.
  • With the 0% making charge approach, the word quickly spread in the community.
  • We saw an immediate increase in sales, and to ensure customer satisfaction, the founder hashed out plans in-house to make sure every customer who entered his store left with a smile.
  • By giving real gifts and creating an inviting atmosphere, the repeat customers increased.

Proven Results

Without going through and strategizing, their path forward was foggy. By having a clear idea of whom to target, the search result for Al Muqtadir Jewellery has gone above 500%. Their presence online has helped bring in other jewellery businesses that want to buy jewellery from the group at wholesale prices. Which further increased sales, and the group now has a separate wing entirely focused on dealing wholesale.
